Ciara Considine: Song Info

'An Gaoth Ur' means 'The Fresh Wind'. I was inspired by the brisk sea-winds and peaceful magic of two family farmlands near the West Coast of Ireland - my father's and my mother's. Stretching back for generations, both farms are now derelict. The gate-posts lean, the window frames are rotten, the streams are dried-up with time. Yet they remain, as the Atlantic sea-winds kiss the landscape around them.
