Loved this song (Kilkelly, Ireland) the minute I heard it on Utube. Of course it helped that Ciara had such a wonderful surname but she does bring the absolutely right emotion to the song. As she does to Spancil Hill, another favourite of mine.

From a very distant New Zealand cousin!

Beautiful voice, beautiful Lyrics, beautiful music - all performed by a beautiful woman. This CD will, in the very near future, be nestling on my shelf as part of my collection.
Molly Ban is filled with a myriad of emotions - my favourite.
Well done and thankyou.

Ciara,
Absolutely fell in love with your version of Kilkelly after hearing it on the Marc Gunn's Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Absolutely heart-breaking. Brilliant job weaving the male voice into the mix, gives me goosebumps every time I hear it... evokes the author of those letters in such a haunting manner. Again, well done!

Another amazing contribution from one of the awesomely gifted Considine family. I predict a great future for Ciara. On the next album could we have a song that really does justice to the full talents of the brothers in the family too. I recall they have remarkable voices which could really capture Ireland's bleeding past.

Hi - I Googled for Celtic Music and found your site. The music is fantastic but I could not find a link to buy the CD. It would make a great gift for some friends that have relatives from the west of Ireland. I've added your site to my favs and will check back in a couple of weeks to see if you've added a 'Purchase CD' link. Better yet, let me know where I could buy this CD in California.
