The Vigo Singers, Kent UK


'Vigo Singers' is a 30-strong, female choir which performs in Kent. The choir was formed in Vigo in 1995 by Elizabeth Clarke and flourished with her leadership, accompanied by the pianist, Barrie Menhams. The choir has appointed a new Musical Director, Ciara Considine, as Elizabeth retires from the post. Ciara works with the Kent Youth Choirs and is delighted to be working with the Vigo Singers from September 2009.



They perform at a variety of local venues and also perform at weddings. Their repertoire includes classical, folk, jazz, spirituals, songs from the shows and modern composers.
